Echoing that RA Comics Direct is an awesome company and I’ve had them price-match KaBlam. If they’re willing to print the content, they might be able to come closer to your original quote. Also, maybe the Austin company you were looking at is willing to haggle too?

I am talking to the owner of Hiveworks who’s helping me get a quote from someone they’re already doing business with and can vouch for. And I’ve gotten quite a few suggestions from people if that doesn’t work.
So I’m gonna actually collect them into a post to share Brenner alternatives with other artists. And shit talk Brenner.
I hope Brenner is happy knowing that they’re the first thing I’ve ever, in my 25 years of life, shit talked openly. It takes a lot to make me mad. I’m well known by friends for being a bit of a pushover, a peace keeper, and not getting mad ever.
But good for them being the first :3 You earned that distinction, fartheads.

I’ve got minecraft 1.5.1 and the newest Optifine ultra for it but I don’t have the option to turn antialiasing on (it only says “antialiasing off”) like I did with the last version :( It worked fine before upgrading minecraft + optifine

For those who don’t follow me on Twitter, the printing company that was supposed to be handling my book, after reviewing my pages (and I sent them my “worst”) in November and agreeing to give me a quote to produce my books, upon me being ready to pay them and after they dropped the ball on responses and ruined my Stumptown plans, have emailed me today to say that they’ve reviewed my files and they aren’t going to print it because the content is “too strong” for them.
They printed Smut Peddler, mind you. And my kickstarter was based around their quote and OK on the content, and I’ve been sitting on that amount ever since.
I’m talking to people and asking for quotes. I’m really hoping I can get quotes in the same range. I’m mad. I don’t think I’ve been legit spitting-angry in a long, long time.
So just kinda letting y’all know. Trying to get these books printed. Really just flustered and angry. Open to advice/suggestions, and also: wow Brenner dropped the ball multiple times and wow wow wow what crap.
