oh wow im really sorry you had to quit your job because i know you are in a tight financial spot at the moment, but i'm also really glad you did. sometimes its hard to get out of toxic environments like that simply because you HAVE been there so long and you tell yourself that things are going to get better or you cant do any better. i wish you luck on your next part time job and i hope it goes a hell of a lot better!!
Luckily it’s not *THAT* tight, I’ve bounced back and I still have an income and commissions have helped a bundle (even though I took more than I shoulda but HEY now I have all the time to finish them hahahahaha). It’s luckily not a drastic life change and I don’t need to immediately get another job, though it’s a good idea in case some of my plans this year don’t work in my favor.
BUT YES thank you, I think I’ll do better at any job because I’m gonna come at it with a completely new mindset. I’m never getting that invested in a job that isn’t my comics/art ever again.
