This is a dumb personal blog and Amanda yaps a lot about bullshit so don't follow it ... unless you love stream of consciousness bullshit spam all hours of the day, and even then don't follow it.

IF YOU WANNA COLOR THIS here’s some line art I suppose —> http://i.imgur.com/bEJ8I.png
So I was very mad at work today, and I’m feeling really burned out on comics and stuff. So while Neil played Katamari I sad and doodled on some bristol. The inking is sloppy in places and I made up a lot of shit as I went, the background wasn’t penciled so it’s all a-leanin’
This is supposed to be an attempt at replicating the kind of stuff I was aiming to draw when I was about 15-16. Sometimes, I like to remember what I ideally wanted to draw like at that age, and sit down and prove that — hey! I can! And could… if I wanted to.
So, a little validation for the tiny, angry teenage me who couldn’t draw for shit but still managed to fill sketch books with robot ladies in ridiculous outfits.
I drew a fuck-ton of robot ladies growing up. I really like the idea of being at a point where robot ladies exist but in order to look anyting remotely human like, they have to have elaborate full-body outfits to hide all their blatantly inhuman bits n’ pieces.
I once had this story with like… robot police ladies. And all androids, no matter how realistic or sleek, wore cartoonish gloves on rather fat cartoony hands because I thought, no matter how advanced technology gets, hands are so complex and delicate that for robots and androids they would always appear bulky and mechanical to have the same kind of dexterity.
… this is the shit I thought about at 15-16. Robot hands.
