I’d wanted to have this done on time, but it was Shabet’s birthday yesterday and being the best person ever means I had to draw something super nice! So I tried to do just that!
So Dave Shabet took screenshots of his most recent page while he worked on it and … oh goodness, look at this thing. That’s a screenshot an hour at some points. I am constantly impressed by his pages. Dang, son.
Little quick comic for my bud and artist of Dead Winter… perhaps, my best bud? Yes. I’m willing to make that argument.

Do you read Dead Winter? If you don’t YOU SHOULD it is really good and Dave constantly astounds me with his ability to draw weird perspectives and handle grayscale. Also the comic just ended on a HUGE CLIFFHANGER and I can’t wait for the next chapter because I GOTTA SEE WHAT HAPPENS. LIZ I HOPE YOU ARE OKAY.

So hey! Just a heads up, my bro Dave Shabet is taking pre-orders on Dead Winter Book 2. I own the first book and it is a tall, sleek, handsome book. In fact it’s so nice it’s single-handedly given me ideas about the printing of my own future LMN collection. It’s very much worth the investment, assuming you haven’t read it online before and don’t know that it’s a pretty rad, quality comic.

Since I skipped an update to help me rest up and get some work done on a guest comic for Dead Winter, I thought I’d at least show what I’m up to! One of the panels, still a lot of tweaking to do but it’ll be done pretty quick, I hope.
What’s taking me so long is a decided to work digitally on this one :( lo and behold, I’m rusty at digital inking! Dangit! But its lookin good the more I work.
