Sketch I did while at work today of Katy, one of the more important not-active characters (and by not active I mean dead as a doornail) who is only referenced in the comic, save for one or two eventual flashback chapters. From my tiny sketchbook, done with a pen and highlighters. Cuz that’s what I had.
Doodled this as I winded down for a nap to recharge before continuing comic inking. She’s a background and recurring minor character whom I’ve never named. You can throw names at me, that’d be cool.
She’s supposed to be the receptionist at the main offices Claire and Roger work in, and I always had a vague idea what she looked like but didn’t sketch her at all, and kinda tried to just figure her out in the comic page as I drew it. But this is much better. Luckily I never drew her up close so details can change.

Warm up sketches. Figuring out how Kelly’s hair is gonna be drawn and getting some sad-face practice in because that’s what the majority of this chapter is gonna end up being. Better get good at it.
No sound. 3 hours of inking sped up and condensed into three 12-minute videos.
Here’s all of the video smooshed together! Sorry the quality is pretty poo-poo for the first half, I’m still learning stuff! I cut out all the parts where I was talking and answering questions because you can’t hear it anyway.
The audio messed up, so instead of trying to preserve it I just aimed to speed everything up and trim it down so I could upload it in one part, cramming over several hours of work into 15 mins. I’ll get the quality sorted next time so the audio will be preserved, too, and post multiple parts.
