Just some panels I like for reasons sans dialogue. You’ve seen some of these inks already.
“Gnash, gnash, gnash!” is what she’s saying here. Peak at current comic, before it was cleaned up/edited. The hatching got heavy but it’ll be balanced with tones.
I drew fanart of Josh’s Princess-Princess idea while I was waiting on my brother’s dentist appointment to finish. Everything about this game is just RIGHT UP my alley and not drawing fanart would have been a crime.
I would done Princess B too but… they were playing Enya.
On loop.
For over an hour.
I found solace in a blueberry muffin I didn’t know I had stuffed in my purse.
I must have forseen that a time would could when I would need a muffin.
(also i don’t know how shields work and ENYA)
Home again. Here’s page 2, sans dialogue and tones. Perspective is wonked. Last full page I’ll share for now, still feeling shy about the attempts at slightly more gestural and thinner line work. Though I may be the only one who notices, knowing me.
I’m posting this because I want ~*opinions*~
This is the first page of the Slipshine comic I’m working on getting finished. I’ve been attempting line work that’s a little more gestural and “rough” than usual, and trying to compliment it with tones/finishing. This encrouages me to ink faster, which is good! But also without that level of perfectionism I leave myself open to making bad choices.
So, while I’m already working on these pages and there’s NO TURNING BACK NOW, I’m still nervous and curious about opinions. Or if I’m the only one who notices the difference.
I can most more examples as I work, this is page 1 (sans text/dialogue) so I figured it was a good place to start (can’t post too many pages!!!)
I realize I’ve been busy and I haven’t had time to share stuff that isn’t finished comic pages, but here’s the original initial doodles of the protag of the Slipshine comic I’ve been working on.
Hourlies Round “Oops.”
Things happened and there was no way I was keeping up with hourly comics. I’m okay though, things are actually “good.” Just in a really weird way. Good and weird.
Hourly Comics Round 4 - Drawing ladies like a creeper.
Hourly Comics Round Two - Explaining why I haven’t posted more hourlies yet. Now I’m off to run errands.
