Another doodle fleshing out the more “ornamental” costume upgrade. As of this point I’ve ditched the “visors” because they just don’t make sense, in terms of style or function. But now her face looks empty. Masks? I dunno.
This is still really wonky. I drew her super small and cartoony because I’ve always felt the best parts of a costume will hold up, and the clunkiest parts will be obvious, when you condense it. Still feel like this is missing the mark in a bunch of ways, but I like the ideas here and it’s definitely a good starting place.

Something I sketched this past weekend while house-sitting for my mother. I’m still working on details for these costumes and was thinking I really like costume upgrades, so I was playing with the idea that the main girl would have upgrades to embody specific changes/goals met.
As per the story, her powers are “borrowed” and there’s an original costume/armor ( I was brainstorming it to the left there) that her outfit is therefore derivative of but heavily influenced by her own personality. So I figured any upgrades would bring the costume closer to the “original” state but still different enough to obviously be unique to Chablis.
There’s also always that concern when designing upgrades that people won’t like the new costume as much as the old one so there’s always the importance of making them equally good but in different ways — by the time I’ve started drawing this comic, I’ll hope to have actually achieved that goal.

The photoset wasn’t working the way I wanted, so here’s the original “base” by itself:

The red lines are meant to mark the contours of the body.

Once again, a very quick guide as tips for drawing breasts. As before, this is a bit rushed and just a starting point for drawing breasts in different sizes with attention to the shape, nipple position as it relates to/and sag.

Not an authority, just doing this since people have asked nicely for a long time. May do a better one in the future.

Okay, I figured I’d knock out a really fast attempt at tips/guide to drawing chubby girls, since enough people have asked. I tried to do this very quick since I gotta move on to other tasks.

This is just a starting point — even though I acknowledge two general ways fat is distributed on women, there are still many variations. Some women don’t gain weight in the breasts, some women only gain weight below the waist, or vice versa. This is also a conservative amount of weight gain for the sake of simplicity — the shape of the body changes as more fat = more sag, so just adding fat outward won’t be very “believable” after a certain threshold, nor does it take into account the way muscle built up will lift or shift the areas of fat or where the fat is anchored — this is why it’s important, when drawing ANY body type, to study real people.

Note: Before people get comment-crazy, I’m just trying to be helpful because people have asked — I don’t consider myself an authority, and I know I draw in an exaggerated/cartoony style.

And, just like that, eeljinkas were drawn!
… I actually super like all of them and wanna draw them again, eeee.

Another one of the not-yet-introduced characters… except Tony’s appeared a few brief times before, next chapter is just the first time she’ll be speaking more than a few sentences. In fact, she’ll be saying a lot of things.
This is the first time I’ve ever drawn her “right” and it pleases me.

In spite of drawing porn, I always get a little shy about posting full-on dude n’ lady parts on my tumblog, but seeing as I’ve seperated LMN into it’s own tumblog…

… DID YOU GUYS KNOW I DRAW PORN?!?!

Well, I totally do. If I’ve never talked about it openly before, I’ve been doing porn for Slipshine for a little bit now and my archives are up to almost 100 pages. I’m pretty proud of the work I do and working for Slipshine is honestly a really good gig. I get payed well and I’ve been able to keep my printing rights and if I weren’t working for Slipshine, I don’t think I’d be making nearly as much porn as I have — and I like making porn. So I’m taking the time to put this smut on your dashboard to promote the site I like working for.

If you’d like to subscribe to Slipshine and see the pricing, click here.

Like I said, I’m almost up to 100 pages of porn spanning 7 issues with a few recurring stories, and with a subscription of any amount/duration you’ll be able to read the archives — and I’m a monthly contributor right now, so there’s a lot more to come. And not just from me but from a really diverse and prolific group of artists, so if you get bored of my stuff (HEY!), there’s something else to read and new updates all the time!

So, sorry if I dirtied up your dashboard! I just wanted to promote Slipshine for a second here, just in case someone missed the SUBTLE HINTS about my pornography… SO SUBTLE.

The last preview image you’re gonna get aside from a preview page when it uploads. Thought these panels were cute. So, uploaded them.

Working on getting Slipshine pages ready to upload, scanned this while I was at it. Doodles of Rupert, Praline’s really neurotic boyfriend.
That’s one of the as-yet unseen characters checked off the list. Gonna draw more this week.

I forgot someone wanted to see me draw a page-step-by-step, and took these photos earlier this week… and forgot about it again.
Next time I work on a LMN page, I’ll get scans as I work.
