Kindling is totally different from  Macchina, which pleases me. It’s post-apocalyptic, set in the USA and follows Bierce, who is surveying the ruins of the midwest. I’m pretty much enamored with this story. ITS GONNA BE SWEET. We have plans  to make this a webcomic in 2012 (oh god, i will have two @___@). I’m trying to finish this 15 page prologue to have preview booklets at SPX!

This is the page that’s going up Monday. Thought I’d post the unaltered inking since I missed updates this past week.

So yeah, these are untouched lines. I darkened the blue pencil lines in this version so you could actually see them. I have to fix places where lines wobble excessively and overlap.

In the first panel I gotta do some Photoshop trickery because I failed to realize when penciling that Fran’s body is positioned way too high, and she needs to be lowered. She’s about two heads taller, not TWICE as tall as Kelly. Geez, good job, me.

Pencil/marker drawing I started due to people inquiring about more Luck Goat stuff. I need to get the characters figured out before I script the first one. Apple is looking pretty good, please ignore her siren friend who has been drawn really terribly. I’m gonna use my lightbox to redraw this after I fix all the errors.

I missed an update last week, oh no :( Basically I got busy, reserved drawing the page for the weekend, and was like, “Hey! I work one shift on Sunday, I can totally get the page done after I get home at 3:30pm!”

… and then I got home at 9pm after running errands. Whoops. And now I’m going back to work. WHOOPS.

Promise there’ll be more updates this week >:U
