hiii! i really like all of your art it is very good and the style is QT and i could go on and whatnot but! i was hoping if you had any tips on coloring and poses? i am really not satisfied with my own art :(
If you browse around my tumblr and some of my tags, I’ve answered similar questions, and sadly I don’t have many good resources for this sort of advice.
I will definitely keep this in mind and when I have some free time draw up some fun little guides and stuff!

Anonymous asked:
so what do you do when you mess up? Just make that particular line thicker?
A mix of things. Work with the mistake, use correction fluid, I once redrew a particular panel separately and edit it in, multiple times traced the whole page with a light box and started over, or in most cases just leave it and adjust it in photoshop if it’s like a misplaced line or something I can erase. It just depends on the severity and how much work’s been done to the page already.

I'd like to say that I as well subscribed to Slipshine for two people, and that you are one of them. Momo's the other.
Well thank you!
cherryvision-deactivated2012011 asked:
For your next example process could you show your coloring process? I loved seeing the "How to draw Claire" you linked and your drawing process you showed.
If I color something again I will! I don’t usually color so usually it’s a trial-by-error process because I’m figuring it out as I go.
Next time I color something I’ll try to screencap or document it as I go!
lemonlimepanda asked:
this isn't a question but just wanted to let you know you are one of the two artist that made me get a slipshine Sub.
:D Awesome!
acrizzle asked:
Can you draw requests; as in, do you feel that you are capable of portraying the abstract concept that is to make a request? Also, as the one Anonymous asked (you appear to have misunderstood them), are you yourself capable of requesting drawings: is that something you can do?
Ohohoho, a wise guy!
topknot asked:
You've said before [I think] that its illegal for toons and humans to date/get married/ have kids. Is this law founded in reason [like are kids who are a mix of both really likely to have medical issues or something like that] or is it more of a "this is not currently socially acceptable" kind of a law [like gay marriage]. Are people punished if they're found out? What about mixed kids/adults? Are they ever punished [by the law or otherwise] for being what they are?
Naw, it is legal. Someone asked once if it was illegal, though, so that’s where the confusion probably came from.
friendlystray asked:
Do you like drawing fall and winter garments on your characters? Oh my gosh, Carolina and Kelly with little mittens and fuzzy hoods would be adorable, in my wee opinion.
I LOVE fall and winter clothes! They are my favorites! It’s currently late August in the comic and I am happy about being able to draw fall and winter clothes within 4-6 chapters.
Anonymous asked:
aww man not even claire and some tasteful nudity?
Man, I’m getting a lot of questions this morning!
I don’t mind drawing pinup or nudes. I just don’t want to right now, especially not of these characters.
frinci asked:
When Roger recommended Claire do adult entertainment, did she ever try?
Nope. She’d hate that. She interned with Roger initially while trying to get through college.
Anonymous asked:
Have you ever drawn porn of your Love Me Nice characters?
Just a single doodle that is craptacular.
The subject is just too friggin’ weird, I don’t wanna see what is essentially Mickey Mouse boning down, so I ain’t gonna draw it.
tbskyen asked:
You have a really nice and distinctive style, especially with lips and noses. I like the roundness and softness of it. What inspired this way of drawing, mostly?
Personal preferences, really. It stems from me preferring organic shapes (to the point that I avoid straight lines) and finding soft shapes friendly and inviting, especially on faces.
These are also distinctions I tend to be attracted to in people, but the art I tend to like — having grown up anime/manga and inspired art— features people with very different faces and shapes, so I guess I instinctively try to fill that void, haha.
