Yep. Bisque (the first one) had to be asked not to eat villagers at the end of the comic she appeared in and had a hoard of gold and took it with her when they left. It’ll be touched on but that hoard of gold was her payment for her services as a princess-guarding dragon and if you’ll notice she was never not on top of it for the entirety of her first appearance, even sex happens.

Bisque is sort of uninhibited though, her sister Rye keeps herself in check and doesn’t really behave that way.

Mac kind of inherited. It’s sort of an obligation and expectation that’s been there since before he graduated high school — sure he coulda opted out, but in exchange for pretty much alienating himself from everyone who had any kind of investment in it, family included. It was way easier just to roll with it.

People ask me about a Love Me Nice book really frequently, and believe me a buttload of people have told me about doing a Kickstarter. I’m sure that eventually I will — I just can’t now. I want to draw 1 or 2 more chapters to close this first volume and lead into the next (I have a plan, you see) and everything depends on how quickly I can draw these chapters.

I could start a Kickstarter in the next few months, but I’d have to haul butt on those chapters and neglect Slipshine potentially to do it, and there’d be a bit of a wait to actually get the books if I’m still drawing pages. I’d rather not end up in that limbo. I thought about adding bonuses on, like if I reach certain amounts to promise to update the comic at a certain rate for a certain period of time, but I just don’t know.

It all very confusing and I wanna give people what they want but also make it actually doable for me. I feel a bit overwhelmed — believe me, I want the same thing everyone messaging me all the time wants, for Love Me Nice to update more frequently and to have a book out and work towards more volumes and stuff.

I’m definitely trying. But in the meantime I got some Smut Peddler stuff to finish up (now that the book’s printing soon we all have adjustments to make to our pages and editing), monthly Slipshine updates to draw (and Slipshine pays me very well so I refuse to lower the quality of my pages), and there’s my dayjob… so i dunno! I’m trying and it’s always on my mind.

I’m def. trying to bump LMN up in priority — I love it more than any of the work I’ve been doing, for sure. I want it to exist more than everyone else. Just bear with me, I’m gonna go into overdrive in the next few weeks.

All of the characters are definitely big chunks of “me” acting independent of each other, but I think if you put Kelly and Fran together you’d get the closest to something that acts like me.

Nothing, really. Claire would either ignore it or ask why it’s any of the person’s business.

• Claire likes tiramisu, and would generally rather eat cake or sweet things than actual food.
• Mac like bananas and things made with bananas but he won’t tell anyone because it’s the “obvious joke.” He also likes ketchup on everything. Even steaks.
• Carolina likes fried anything and everything especially if there’s gravy. HOWEVER this doesn’t include meat because she doesn’t like meat. She’ll sooner eat fried broccoli than a hotdog.
•  Kelly has probably the worst diet of anyone, and would say that her favorite thing is mashed potatoes between two slices of bread and has decided that counts as a sandwich.

I imagine Praline’s dad having a much rounder head, with hair pulled back and eyebrows that cover his eyes, but aside from that I’ve imagined they look really similar. As for her boyfriend, she isn’t particularly attracted to Toons or anyone with similar features to her. They just like each other, is all.

Pretty frequently. I’m also pretty open about being chubby and vocal about body acceptance and there are people who think they’re doing me a favor by telling me how hot they think I am and how they’d totally date me. Well, frankly, I’m open about a LOT of things — porn, sex-positivity, LGBT acceptance, various opinions about art and comics — and all of these somehow get twisted into a sentiment along the lines of “I support your interest/involvement in [x] and will express this by flirting with you and/or offering to sex you up.”

I am an open and sincere person, I don’t intend to change that soon. I’ll talk to anyone about anything if they’re respectful enough. I love goofing off and making jokes, too. I also have no qualms with innocent flirting, that’s cute and fun. I just wish that, as a lady, people didn’t think that the greatest form of flattery or praise is expressing a desire to have sex with me. Which is a frequent occurrence on Tumblr whenever I start actively posting.
