Josh Lesnick aside, are you friends with any other comickers who are also Texan? I know the girl who does Head Trip is from Texas but I'm not aware of anyone other than her, you, and Josh.

Texas-Bros-Who-Make-Awesome-Comics-And-Are-Not-Lesnick-or-That-Other-Person:

I worry I may be missing a few, but I have so many long-distance friend relatively that I tend to forget where everyone lives — or, rather, I think they all live in my computer. But those three make great comics, and they are people I have met and think are pretty rad. I hope to see them again. And hug them. OH THE HUGS.

» Perry for President FML

superhappy:

As Conservative TX Gov Rick Perry begins to explore a Presidential bid, it is important to remember the lasting legacy he will leave for Texas. After 25 years in public office and 10 years as the Governor, Perry has dramatically changed what Texas looks like for future generations. Here are just a few of his accomplishments.

At first I got names mixed up and thought we were talking about someone else… but then I clicked saw his face and REMEMBERED what was what.

“OH GOD NOT THAT DICK fuck this shit!!!”

In Texas, Republicans are blocking a bill that would repeal the state’s unconstitutional ban on “homosexual conduct.” Eight years after Lawrence v. Texas, here are the 14 states that still have anti-sodomy laws on the books.

The fact that sodomy is illegal (for everyone) in my state just made sex that much hotter. Michiganders, let’s all have some illegal yet consensual sex tonight!

TX Republicans usually respond to this by saying “what’s the big deal? It’s not like we’ll ever enforce those laws”, but yeah okay… would they say the same thing if there were a law saying that all Christians should be eaten by lions?
Also, geeze this quote:
“State Rep. Wayne Christian, a Republican and one of the state’s leading social conservative politicians, told the Austin American-Statesman last month that he likely wouldn’t support the bills repealing the ban on gay sex because the House already has too much on its plate. Among other things, the legislature is debating a bill to allow college students to carry concealed firearms in lecture halls, a measure to require women to view an ultrasound before having an abortion, and legislation to prevent state courts from applying Islamic sharia law.”
NOPE NO TIME TO GIVE GAYS THE RIGHTS OF OTHER HUMAN BEINGS GOTTA WORK ON PUTTING GUNS EVERYWHERE, KEEPING WOMEN UNDER OUR THUMBS, AND PUTTING A STOP TO SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T FUCKING EXIST

“a measure to require women to view an ultrasound before having an abortion” Wait, so the right to psychologically torture someone is more important than the right to live comfortably as a gay person without fear of legal persecution…
